Travel Vaccinations

• Twinrix vaccine to provide immunization against Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B
  • Recommended for travellers to high-risk areas where the infections can be spread through food, water, blood, or bodily fluids.
  • Administered intramuscularly over a three- or four-dose series of vaccines.
  • Pharmacists can prescribe and administer to those aged 18+.
• Havrix vaccine to provide immunization against Hepatitis A.
  • Administered intramuscularly over a two-dose series of vaccines.
  • Pharmacists can prescribe and administer to those aged 18+.
  • Recommended for travellers to high-risk areas where Hepatitis A can be spread through food, water, blood, or bodily fluids.

Shingles

• SHINGRIX Shingles Vaccine
• Covered for those age 50+ with a valid PEI Health Card

RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus)

• Arexy vaccine to provide immunization against RSV.
• Recommended for individuals 60+, and those aged 50-59 with increased risk of lower respiratory tract disease.

Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis

• Adacel vaccine for immunization against Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis (whooping cough).
• Administered intramuscularly.
• Pharmacists can prescribe and administer for those 18+.

Flu Vaccinations

• Must be age 5+ to receive a flu vaccine.

Covid-19

• See your Murphy’s Pharmacy team for your COVID-19 vaccine. Must be 12+. Please call for current COVID-19 vaccine availability.

Paxlovid

• Prescription requires a positive COVID-19 test and symptoms that developed in the last 5 days. Eligibility: 18+ with underlying medical conditions, or age 50 and over.
